This gift is for our 5th wedding anniversary (wood), in December, so I only looked at it quickly, rewrapped it and put it away. The writing on the handle was perfect. The hatchet seems to be of good value from what i was able to see. It had a guard over the end of the blade, so I wasn't able to really see that, or how sharp it actually is. Very Pleased with it as of now!! Shipping was quick, packaged nicely.
